I suggest you search the internet for methods to contain running bamboo.
Shipping is made via USPS Priority mail. 3 day delivery.
Handling time is usually 3 days but due to bad weather, heavy rain,flash flooding,
tornados, lightning, ect, processing time may be longer.
NOTE: Bamboo root is dug from the soil and as such it will be dirty and not
sterile. The soil contains bacteria, viruses and mold spores, & so may your
roots/plants, this is normal, so plan accordingly.
DIRTY PLANTS/ROOTS ARE NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT.

These roots are off of the mother plant that was brought directly from Thailand.
This bamboo can withstand extreme temp's from -10dF to 105dF.
Bamboo is the world's fastest growing plant and some species of bamboo can grow up to a foot a day in the right conditions.It grows to a height of 20 feet with a diameter of 1 inch. It is very adapted to swampy sites and unlike other temperate bamboo it can be planted in areas that do not drain and will grow is areas that are not soggy also. This is running bamboo and will spread quickly. This veriety of bamboo stays GREEN YEAR ROUND!!!! This bamboo can also be grown in containers and placed on the patio, around the pool or in the yard. The plants also furnish excellent cover for birds and other wildlife, and food for browsing animals. Your bamboo will be dug the day it is shipped. We ship on Mon and tues and sometimes wed.'s to prevent this from lying around in the mail truck over the weekend. When it arrives at your home, it is ready for planting.Planting instructions is very simple- just cover with dirt and water generiously.. These roots will began to sprout in 8-10 weeks under the right conditions,and really grow fast. As with any living plant, there can be many factors that will cause the bamboo to perform poorly. Bamboo is an extremely tough grass, however, we can not guarantee specific results due to factors beyond our control. Improper planting, poor drainage, and poor soil are examples which can cause plant failure. Weather is always a factor beyond our control as is poor maintenance of the bamboo planting.

It has come to my attention that this species is phyllostachys aureosulcata (yellow grove), it can get up to 2 inches by 45ft max, tolerate temperatures down to around -10F and relatively easy to propagate.. Special thanks to Steve Lau.
